Subject: Email not working from most addresses Date Posted: Aug 26, 2008 7:01pm
 
This problem is really bugging me, ive looked around and haven't been able to find someone with the same problem.

I have my domain setup to forward email using the "Email Forwarding Settings" in the domain control panel.

Some email works but most doesn't, email from my hotmail account will forward correctly, but email from a yahoo account i setup wont forward. What is it that would make some email forward and some not.

None of the involved email accounts are blacklisted, the emails are not somehow going into spam.

It may be a block at the Firewall level.

I will try sending you email from a Yahoo account.

Its really random what emails work. Some yahoo account may work im not sure, ive asked friends to test email me tested about 6 email addresses total most of them failed. The thing that bugs me is not that the emails are failing, its that some work, it would make more sense if they all didn't work.

Its worth noting that i have tried it on both settings, that is dynadot direct mail forwarding and "Deliver email to another mail host (MX record)" it was originally set to mx records when i noticed the problem, then i changed it to just forward to my email and problem still existed, waited over 30 hours still exists.
