VPS stands for Virtual Private Server, which means that you have the benefits of a dedicated server without the cost because it allows you to take control of a section of a server. Do you guys use cPanel? Do you employ Fantastico? I do get my own IPs? How many? Do you allow "shared" SSL? => I have several domains right now on a VPS and you are much less expensive -- but cannot sacrifioe performance, etc. Please reply asap

Thank you for your interests in our VPS product. Our VPS product now is in beta mode and it doesn’t come with cPanel and Frantastico. You will get one IP address per VPS order. Since we offer unmanaged VPS, it doesn’t have shared SSL installed. You will get the autonomous control of bandwidth, memory, software installation and storage space from our VPS product.

I don't give this a chance. I would never buy a new service for a whole year while all these cloud providers offering services by day/hour. The package with 512MB RAM is too small for most Wordpress site. $10 for 512MB is okay, but you should offer a flexible plan.

Dude, who cares about fly-by-night cloud services? The most important thing I have found with my VPS is customer service -- 24/7 -- and while I am paying 5X what DD is charging -- for many years now -- the quality of my ISP's customer service is so out the top, better than anything I have experienced in nearly 30 years -- I would stay with them almost for that alone, if DD could not compete in that arena. Who cares about RAM? dude, they can slap it in whenever they are ready. Does DD offer 24/7 service with their VPS? It's a yes or no question :-)

BTW, I have no migration problems -- used to run a non-cPanel Red Hat box for 8 years -- but will not look back, lol. On your RAM limit -- I have not found that limit to be a problem with at least a dozen clients on my vps server now -- been on a VPS for 5 years. love it. Please answer question re, SSL -- what are my parameters? Can I share with whole box (from the master account) or can I share with just a few domains? Still it is a major undertaking and has to be very well planned. Thank you.

I want to install wordpress on my VPS hosting server I purchased from Dynadot. Please guide me. I don't find an option for it.. :(
