I dont work here, but i know how to do this.

Go to your domains section in your account, click Name Servers, find Register a Name Server, then put the hostname (eg ns1.mycompany.com) and the IP you want that hostname to use.

Same with NS2

Our help section shows how to register a name server using a domain in your account:

How do I register my own name servers (glue records)?

Glue records associate a hostname with an IP address. They are needed when you want to set your domain's name servers to a hostname that is a subdomain of your domain.

To create your own name servers for a domain registered at Dynadot, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Dynadot account.
  2. Select "My Domains" from the left-side menu bar and click "Name Servers" in the drop-down.
  3. Click on the "Register Name Server" button in the top right corner of the page.
  4. Enter the host name (ns1.mydomain.com, for example) in the text box labeled "Host Name".
  5. Enter the IP address for the name server in the text box labeled "IP Address".
  6. Press the "Register Name Server" button to save your changes.

You can submit either an IPv4 or IPv6 IP address (except .WS domains, which do not support IPv6 addresses). You can also set multiple IP addresses. Please remember to configure your name servers with the corresponding A records. This would be done in your hosting control panel rather than your Dynadot account.

Your settings should look similar to what is shown below:

NOTE: Custom domain name servers (glue records) can only be registered at Dynadot if the domain is registered here. If you are trying to register a name server for ns1.mydomain.com, for example, and mydomain.com is registered with a third party, you would not be able to create glue records with Dynadot.
From Help Section: Account & Domain Management > Domain Settings > How do I register my own name servers...

>...get their NS servers, after putting them in settings for my domain nothing happens..

After you make a name server change, it can take a short while for the settings to propagate and caches to expire. The Domain Name Server Propagation article goes into more detail about this. You can use the Snapshot Tool to see what your domain currently shows without caching.

It is a security feature to prevent a domain from being transfered without your authorization. A domain would need to be unlocked before it can be transfered. You can lock/unlock it in your account area.

Is is a must that we enter the IP address?

Also, I see nowhere to remove a name server if we add the wrong one.

If you are registering your own name servers, you should have the IP address of your web server.  If, however, you are using your web host's name servers, then you will not need to enter in an IP address.

To remove a name server from your Dynadot account, please follow these steps:

1. Log into your Dynadot account.
2. Click on the "Domains" tab.
3. Click on the "Name Servers" link in the submenu.
4. All name servers that can be deleted will have checkboxes next to them.  Click on the checkboxes of the name servers you want to delete.
5. Click the "Delete" button.

Please note that if you do not see a checkbox next to a name server you want to delete, a domain is most likely still using this name server.  You can only delete registered name servers if they are no longer listed as the name servers for other domains.
