Google Adwords Keyword Tool

Is this a popular way of quantifying a domain's potential value?

It seems an excellent source of hard data.

Seriously. Is there some reason this is not utilized? I can hardly believe how lttle hard data there is behind sedo "top names". None of their leading adult domains can even be found in the search engines at all under their key terms - let alone with good postioning.  Isn't that the entire point of keyword-rich generic domains?

Nor do they show any  evidence of this "natural traffic" they're so neurotic about (do these people have a clue as to how search engines actually work?) Nor do they use this excellent  tool to quantify  actual searches.

Why not? Google think its good enough to charge money for, as this is what they base their Adsense rates on.

Eh?

You know, NC -- I have begun to find out the same, myself. I have a couple of names for sale at Sedo -- have tried to bid on a few others -- but I too have found no market basis for Sedo's super sales prices -- I have not been able to figure what it is that they use to charge so much money?

Tell me what you think of the new http://www.valuate.com -- would like your opinion.
