How many domain names have been registered?

How can I obtain the total quantity of domain names of which currently exist.

Is there somewhere in say Whois, which says,

'at this hour, there are  xxx,xxx .com domains and yyy,yyy .info domains in existence'

Does anyone know about how many Domain names are registered in say Dynadot also.
