Can someone please advise me with regards to whether in the USA the civil court system works on a "each party bear their own costs" system ?. i.e. if I take a legal action, and lose ,is it correct that I ONLY have to pay my own attorney fees and not the other sides ?. IN Europe on the whole it works on winner takes all basis, but am led to believe that USA works differently.

Reason I ask is that I am seeking to find best Jurisdiction to defend against unwarranted UDRP's , and that is wherever each party pays their own attorney's fees ,win or lose.

Anyone please ?
