What kind of Privacy is this which puts my NAME c/o Dynadot???
1/25/2012 21:18
I want privacy so no one on WHOIS can tell who the OWNER is!!!! What's the point if you use my name c/o dynadot!! Or am I misunderstanding what the service is?

OK, how to fix -- give me a good answer, please. Should I change the Registrant names to "private" or something like that?

regards
Information Provider Technologies

Never Mind -- I solved the problem by adding new Registrants named Private -- so good. But if I'd not checked I would have been pissed to later find out Privacy was not there. I think Dynadot should MAKE A NOTICE at the Privacy button to change or delete their Registrant names, dudes!!!!

thanks

We do make mention of this.  In fact,  a full sample is shown here:

http://www.dynadot.com/domain/privacy.html

Our reasoning for this decision are discussed in our article "Problems with Proxy Registration and Related Services"  which can be found here:

Thanks DD staff for pointing me to both excellent articles which, had I not been such an idiot, would have consulted first!

You guys really do have a 1st Class service here.
