Can't get forwarding turned off for my domain
11/7/2007 02:29
Hi,

I can't get the domain gratisnanet.com to refrain from using forwarding, however the admin page tells me I am using:
Dynadot DNS: 69.41.180.51

But when doing a lookup or a snapshot I get:
Domain Forwarding detected
The domain is being forwarded to: http://wordpress.g-sat.net/

What am I doing wrong? I have tried to remove and re-set the dynadot DNS, but to  no avail.

Help apreciated.

Kind regards,
João

Our name servers are simply pointing your domain to that IP address.  It is the web server at that IP address that is doing the forwarding.  You will need tell the web server to stop forwarding your domain to http://wordpress.g-sat.net/.

If you are still planning to use that web server for your website, then you need to change the web server's configuration to stop the forwarding.

You are right.

I missed it since the forwarding was done in a database and not in my lighttpd config file.

Sorry for the noise.

Kind regards,
João
