DNS Query
1/5/2015 08:45
Hi,

I had a domain (DNS ONLY) with Dreamhost for a few years.
The actual URL - `A` record - pointed to a tumblr site and a couple of subdomains pointed to Google Apps.

I have moved the domain over to Dynadot and in my Dynadot account the Nameservers are listed as the dreamhost ones.    /ramble_over

Do I need to add the A records, the CNAMES and MX records to the nameservers page along with the Dynadot Nameservers? If I do this then everything will still work and I can delete the Dreamhost account?

Thanks

All your settings should correspond to Dreamhost's name servers since you have the domain set to them. You would not need to manually enter A records, CNAMES, etc. unless you want to use our DNS.
