It appears to have been a timing issue with dns resolving or something.
After 10 minutes went by and several refreshes, the title bar is displaying properly and the forwarding is acting properly.
Hope it stays that way.
I would have deleted this post altogether but do not see an option to do so.
So please ignore below.
Hello,
I just became a dynadot customer yesterday and already I am finding problems in the way your system works. This is not looking promising.
Domain FORWARDING does not work properly. It operates as STEATH FORWARDING
I want FORWARDING only ..... NOT stealth forwarding which operates in frames and displays different info in the title bar.
I set it for FORWARDING, however, it operates exactly as Stealth Forwarding.
Your description of FORWARDING is correct in the way it describes FORWARDING VS STEATH forwarding as pasted below.
--------------------
Domain forwarding is similar to when a web page redirects a visitor to another website, but instead of using HTML or a script to do the redirection, the domain name itself redirects to the website. When a domain is set to forward visitors to another website, the domain's name DOES NOT STAY in the web browser's URL bar. Instead, the new page's URL is displayed. If you want to keep the domain's name in the URL bar, you need to use stealth forwarding.
--------------------
HOWEVER ---- Your FORWARDING does not work properly as described.
It operates in frames and enters it's own information in the Title Bar
---------------------
My domain is set for FORWARDING ..... NOT STEALTH Forwarding
Here is the html for the forwarded page ........
<html> <head> <title>Name Trade One - The #One Domain Traders and Desellers</title> </head> <frameset> <frame src="/home.php" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="auto" frameborder="0"> </frameset> </html>
---------------------
You can clearly see that it is using frames and displaying Name Trade One in the title.
This is simply wrong and I would appreciate this corrected as soon as possible.
