moving domains to dynadot

Hi - I have some domains in godaddy and would like to move them to dynadot before renewal.
Is there a protocol for that or would I have to let them lapse?
They are not giving me any information or even the option to make changes in the privacy, etc.
I would appreciate a suggestion, thanks!
