Name Server Problem
12/7/2006 07:56
Im getting the exact same thing. Just changed my name servers, ip lookup shows everything as fine, pointing to correct ip address, but my domain name points to superhost.pl(83.149.122.32)

But my host asilhost.net
   my DNS: ns3.asilhost.net
           ns4.asilhost.net
      DNS ip : 72.232.202.18

i am write true DNS. But been like this for 6 hours later change DNS.

The IP lookup tool starts at the root name servers for your name server and IP information. Your computer would have initially done the same, but to save lookup time, computers and ISPs sometime cache the name server and IP information.

If your previous name server setting had your domain's IP as 83.149.122.32, then you probably have that IP address cached for your domain. It could be cached on your computer or your ISP. You can try restarting your computer to clear its cache. If that doesn't work, then it's probably your ISP. If that's the case, you can try contacting your ISP or you may have to just wait a couple days for the cache to expire.
