TXT, MX and SRV record only (No A or CNAME)

I'm trying to enter info for TXT, MX and SRV records into the DNS pane.  Unfortunately, when I try to update the information, it tells me that I have to enter information for at least one A or CNAME entry.  The thing is, I don't have one.  I'm trying to setup my domain with Outlook.com, the online version.  It doesn't make use of A or CNAME entries.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You do need to enter a record type for the main domain.  If you have a webhost and have built a site, you can get the IP address needed for an 'A' record or the CNAME value from them.  If you haven't gotten that far, you can forward to another URL, or enter a bogus IP address like 8.8.8.8.  If you choose that option visitors to your site will see any error page.
