So I sold a domain, is it possible to withdraw the credits to my PayPal?

Why not? I see no reason why you cannot send us money in our account, it's a simple paypal transaction.

Or is Dynadot just saying we plan to keep your money?

It's true, we can move to sedo.com for sell nice domain because they are accept withdraw credit to paypal.
